Esoterrorism
Esoterrorism consists of a backpack frame with a battery powered FM-sender and modular synthesizer. This allows its user to illegally broadcast audioperformances on commercial FM-frequencies while remaining mobile in order to avoid getting caught.
Inspired by both a pirate radiostation and the mysterious cold-war era number stations, it fantasises about the future of FM.
With commercial radio being digitalised, the FM-frequencies will become available and may become an analogue equivalent of the internet. Here everyone can be a pirate traversing the information wasteland.
